The City of Castle Pines is a community of approximately 10,000 people, 20 miles southeast of downtown Denver, Colorado and along the western edge of the Great Plains. Incorporated in 2008 as Castle Pines North, the residents voted in 2010 to change the official name to the City of Castle Pines. Located with the towns of Highlands Ranch to its north and Castle Rock to its south, and bordered by Interstate 25 on its east, homeowners in Castle Pines have easy access to area attractions and shopping. The Park Meadow Retail Resort, ten miles north of the city, has over 185 retail shops and restaurants, while the nearby 200-step Mini Incline is a great way to burn off calories after visiting one of the area’s many breweries.
